![]() ![]() Sobran has three major partners, his wife Celeste (crazy and more a fringe character), Xas (handsome male angel), and Aurora (beautiful, smart and higher class than Sobran). The love issues (I’m gonna call it issues instead of triangle, because no one seems to care that they are sharing Sobran) are compelling in their reality. Sobran is a full character, rounded out in so many different ways to make him a real person. ![]() Okay maybe not every minute of it, but enough to make you feel like you’ve just spent a lifetime with this man. For one thing, Knox wrote someone’s whole life. It didn’t quite slip through to the special place in my heart where the Dreamhunter Duet lives, but I wasn’t disappointed. Second, the book was pretty damn enthralling. Like any relationship, it grows and changes, and has it’s bad moments.įirst off, I wish I had the cover that the book shows on goodreads, because mine had a terrible half naked man that would have turned me off from the book immediately if I hadn’t been looking for that book. The Vintner’s Luck follows a man’s relationship with an angel through the course of his life. ![]()
